| Description | The Asian Pacific Policy & Planning Council (A3PCON), a coalition of over 35 community-based organizations
serving Los Angeles’ Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities, developed this Voter Guide to inform your
decisions on the statewide ballot measures that will be on the November 4, 2008 ballot. The positions are based on
a majority vote of A3PCON’s Board of Directors with input from A3PCON committees, member organizations and
individuals. This Voter Guide can be downloaded at www.a3pcon.org. Additionally, you can access the Statewide
Voter Information Guide at www.voterguide.sos.ca.gov; this guide contains the full text, arguments for and against
and the State Legislative Analyst’s analysis of each of the ballot measures. Lastly, you can access the Easy Voter
Guide at www.easyvoter.org, an easy-to-read guide to the presidential candidates and ballot measures. |
