A3PCON members and leaders of the API Community meet with Los Angeles County first district Supervisor Gloria Molina on March 7, 2013 at APAIT Health Center. A3PCON members presented Supervisor Molina with a reproduction of the Historic Filipino Town Mural in Los Angeles - Gintong Kasaysayan, Gintong Pamana mural.
API Hope and Recovery Conference

API Hope and Recovery Conference

API Consumer Leadership Council members actively participated in planning the 2012 Asian Pacific Islander Hope & Recovery Conference alongside the Department of Mental Health. The conference was held on October 24th, 2012 at the DoubleTree Hilton hotel in Culver City. A bigger part of the workshop was the Recovery panel led by API consumers and the leadership and advocacy panel presented by the API Consumer Leadership Council.

This January 9th A3PCON will meet with L.A. County Fifth district Supervisor Michael Antonovich at the APAIT Health Center. A3PCON staff presented and discussed the needs of the API communities, and the organizations that serve them.
